Prayer Request

Colbert Presbyterian Church strives to create and come along side ministries that are helping those who are in need of support locally and around world. We hope to form lasting relationships and interactions by providing service and resources to our partner organizations. With humility, we strive to strengthen our congregation and community with our acts of service and love.

In addition to serving the broader community, the Mission Committee discerns to provide for persons in relationship with Colbert Presbyterian that act in service around the world. The committee supports these individuals financially when needed, and will commit to pray and regularly correspond with them. The Mission Committee also considers financial scholarships for children, youth, and adults in our community to participate in Church led activities.
The Mission Committee meets monthly to pray and discuss how to be faithful stewards of our budget, which is 10% of the total annual Colbert Presbyterian budget. We distribute resources monthly to mission projects where we have ongoing relationships, and where we can invest wholeheartedly. The Mission Committee also listen to requests for consideration of involvement in other mission opportunities where a member of the congregation feels there is a need. To request a meeting to present an opportunity for giving to the committee, please email the elder for Missions, Paul Warfield at paulwarfield@gmail.com
